You know, I used to go running every morning with my friend Tracy. We'd get up freaky early (I think it was about 5:30) and go for a run down to the bread factory and back. It was probably about 3 or 4 miles, round trip. And every morning, I hated doing it. But I did notice that I felt more energetic throughout the day, despite the fact that we spent the day walking all over the place.
It starts with a desire, which turns into an action. After that, it becomes a habit, and then a lifestyle. I'm hoping I get to the triathlon before the lifestyle part of this. I don't think I want to ever be called a "runner." Unless it's in a Logan's Run reference. Or Blade Runner. Both of those are cool.
